Though not gated, properties are situated on large lots, typically with long driveways and gates, along with mature trees for added privacy. Schools & Education in Red Mountain
Five schools serve Red Mountain. The public school system is ranked 15th in Colorado out of 181 districts by Niche Rankings. The three public schools are Aspen Elementary School, grades PK-4; Aspen Middle School, grades 5-8; and Aspen High School, grades 9-12. Two private schools are Aspen Country Day School and Aspen Community School, both grades K-8. The Wildwood School offers programs for Pre-K children between the ages of two and a half and five.
